Scrap Grind
This strategy is for collecting Scraps that are currently not available in any Regular Delves. Since players cannot retry Limited Run Delves after clearing, careful HP management is essential. This strategy is most efficient when repeated with 1 HP (which is regenerated every 5 minute interval), about 30 HP is acceptable but no higher.

Upon completion of this Delve, a player earns a Cassidice egg. This egg can be claimed from the main Delving page if the player has at least one Baby creature slot available and will be available indefinitely until it has been claimed.
Note: Consuming Berry/Fruit is not recommended. They can be sold instead to recoup credits used to purchase ammo.

Similar to Drakilin Hideaway, Cassidice Nest is easy to grind for scraps with just 1 HP. Two out of three terrains are advantageous and can be used to defeat enemies without taking a hit: Tall Undergrowth and Forest Clearing.
* Tall Undergrowth guarantees protection for two turns (including the turn after using Search) and can be used to defeat most of enemies with ammo + normal attack. Be sure to pay attention to creatures with higher defense, Cloaked Shrubstalker and Barkback. If their remaining HP is about 18 or more, using another ammo is suggested to guarantee victory.
*  Forest Clearing is bit of a gamble. Drakilin and Cassidice can be defeated with Distract (5 damage) + ammo, though occasionally Cassidice can survive. Cloaked Shrubstalker and Barkback cannot be defeated with Distract + ammo due to having higher defense. If the tree falls, any enemy can be taken out with normal attacks.
* Dense Forest is a unfavorable terrain, and will likely end the run prematurely. Use a normal attack and hope the dodge happens (if it does, use ammo).

When reaching the boss room, do not search (unless if the terrain is Dense Forest). Use normal attack and aim to die here.

Strategy

  • Tagalong: None
  • Equipment: Default (SDN-1 + Researcher Uniform)
    • Add-On: None
  • Ammo: Arthrophobia, Heat-seeking, Plucky, Scaleshredder, Uproot

Note: Consuming Berry/Fruit is not recommended. They can be sold instead to recoup credits used to purchase ammo.

Similar to Drakilin Hideaway, Cassidice Nest is easy to grind for scraps with just 1 HP. Two out of three terrains are advantageous and can be used to defeat enemies without taking a hit: Tall Undergrowth and Forest Clearing.

  • Tall Undergrowth guarantees protection for two turns (including the turn after using Search) and can be used to defeat most of enemies with ammo + normal attack. Be sure to pay attention to creatures with higher defense, Cloaked Shrubstalker and Barkback. If their remaining HP is about 18 or more, using another ammo is suggested to guarantee victory.
  • Forest Clearing is bit of a gamble.
  • Dense Forest is a unfavorable terrain, and will likely end the run prematurely. Use a normal attack and hope the dodge happens (if it does, use ammo).

When reaching the boss room, do not search (unless if the terrain is Dense Forest). Use normal attack and aim to die here.

Trivia

  • It was previously possible to find a Red female Barkback as a random encounter in Cassidice Nest. The only Barkback encounter in the Delve is now a trap via inspecting the Mossy Log examine point, likely made in order to match another Limited Run Delve in the Forested Laboratory with this exact same encounter, Drakilin Hideaway.
