Pickup Station

Pickup Station is a place operated by Narii-Ta at Headquarters, where players can pick up free stuffs everyday as well as collect limited pickups as they become available.

Function

Daily Pickup

Players may pick up two things from the Pickup Station everyday: one Ammo (excluding Venom)/Rare Chroma and one Food Cube. RAR will remind players of daily pickup if they haven't visited for the day yet. The daily pickup reset at midnight server time (PT).

Limited Pickup

When a limited pickup is available and hasn't been claimed, RAR will inform players that one is available. Limited pickups tend to run for about a month. More often than not, new items, and occasionally creatures, are released through this first before other ways to obtain them are eventually introduced.

  • "They ended up with a bunch of extra materials to make more Rainbow Chroma than usual. Bet you're happy you get to have more than just one this time, huh?"

• July 7, 2021 - July 31, 2021
  • Reward: Energy Drink x4
  • "Feels like the IA will take money from almost anyone... there was this whole spiel the company that makes these energy drinks wanted me to give you, but I lost the paper. How would they even know if I told it to everyone anyway? They taste good, I guess. There, that's my endorsement."

• August 24, 2021 - September 24, 2021
  • Reward: Juice Box x6
  • "Have you ever read the back of one of these? It just goes on and on about the straw being made of paper. If they're gonna give me another thing to hand out they could at least give me some good reading material too."

• October 29, 2021 - November 29, 2021
  • Reward: Venom x4
  • "Looks like the labcoats made a new toy for you to play with. Makes me wish I could try it out. You wouldn't mind lending me one of your guns for a moment, would you? Think of all I've done for you, pal."

• November 10, 2021 - December 10, 2021
  • Reward: Baby Dysonette x1
  • "That team of higher-up field researchers brought back a bunch of creatures from some marsh. They look like those little lights humans put on trees for some holiday. One of them kept going on about how there was something special about these but I'll be honest, I just tuned the guy out."

• Matmadyur Heimsins: released on May 12, 2020 during beta (initially as Limited Pickup), and upon public release of Protochroma, February 14, 2021.
• Barkback: released on October 16, 2020 initially as Limited Pickup.
• Lightcatcher: released on April 11, 2021 initially as Limited Pickup.

Trivia

• If the player visits Narii-Ta while he is sleeping and a Limited Pickup is active, there will be an extra dialogue of waking him up (dialogue to be added).
