==Elusive Oasis==
*Summer sector: August 6 - September 5
*''During summer, the sands of this desert shift dramatically, revealing a normally unseen oasis. Water from deep underground fills out to create a small lake. Dormant plants sprawl out and return to their brilliant green hue, providing shelter and perches for the creatures that flock to here. When this oasis is lively, one is sure to find younger creatures amongst the plants. Once breeding season is over, these creatures will vanish almost as quickly as they appeared, going back into hiding until they return next year.''
===Creature 1===
New page: [[Painted Kalak]]
*Artist: Sora
*Baby: ''This tan, speckled puppy has four ears, a small plant growing at the end of its spine, and spends much of its time hiding and napping. It's very clumsy and unsteady, but it seems very aware of where you are when you approach it.''
*Juvenile: ''The puppy has grown into a lanky adolescent canid, and has grown rows of cactus-like spikes along its sides. It spends most of its time playing, and its colors are getting steadily more vivid, with the spots blending together into stripes. The plants on its body have grown significantly. It seems to primarily use its ears and the heat pits on its face for navigation, and still trips over inanimate objects sometimes.''
*Adult: ''Painted Kalaks are a species of mammal that appear to have lost their endothermy in exchange for developing heat-sensing pits along their lips and symbiosis with water-storing desert flora. They hide near oases in tall grass, with only their tail-plants sticking out, and ambush herbivores. They are more active at night, after spending all day basking and sleeping while soaking up heat.''
''Painted Kalaks in the wild will attack large prey, and have been known to injure researchers who fail to notice one and get too close. In captivity, they need to be kept in very hot enclosures, but they do bond with their handlers and will not attack them. Their symbiotic plants can be gently harvested from without harm, and contain a gel that's extremely good at soothing burns--overharvesting, though, can lead to dehydration, as they store much of their water in the plants.''
===Creature 2===
New page: [[Fulminifer]]
*Artist: Keileon
*Baby: ''This black egg is extremely heavy and sturdy, and has a blue tinge. The shell is smooth and cold to the touch, looking and feeling almost like it's made of metal. There's a very faint humming buzz around the egg, and touching it requires insulated gloves, lest the handler receive an electric shock. ''
*Juvenile: ''The egg hatched into an aggressive baby dragon that seems to be mostly neck, wing, and tail. One of the first things it did upon orienting itself after hatching was eat its own eggshell, which may have something to do with the fact that its scales have the same metallic texture as the egg. In fact, it often tries to supplement its own diet with metal—though it's almost entirely carnivorous, it can sometimes be caught attempting to eat metal scraps or even juvenile mechanical creatures. Much care must be taken to keep it away from electronic cables.''
*Adult: ''Fulminifers are hostile, aggressive dragons that normally live at high altitudes such as mountain peaks, but nest closer to sea level in the summer. Though of similar intelligence to their Lightcatcher cousins, these creatures are ornery and extremely difficult to train, even out of the egg. They are covered in metallic scales which they maintain and replenish by eating metals, anything from scraps to a researcher's misplaced tools to even adult Knuttes, though wild individuals are more likely to dig out ores from their rocky territories. Fulminifers are also apex predators which hunt by unleashing either fire or lightning at their prey, or even simply dive-bombing the target and grabbing it in their foreclaws. Because of their scales, these dragons act as living lightning rods, attracting electric strikes from the storms common in their breeding season, and seeming to receive energy from those strikes. Fulminifers are extremely fast and agile fliers due to their large wings and whip-like tails, and have been seen flitting in and out of thunderheads during intense storms.''
:''Because of their ill-tempered natures, it is generally not advised to keep too many adult Fulminifers unless they've been properly trained. They can be reward-motivated to at least stop unwanted behaviors, but must be regularly reminded of these lessons or they will eventually return to their natural hostility. In the wild, their aggression and volatile tempers are what keep other apex predators from engaging with them—even other Fulminifers, as the species has been noted to be cannibalistic under the right circumstances. A breeding pair will immediately separate after copulation, and the mother will abandon the nest as it begins to hatch; it's not unheard of for the nestlings to attack each other until all but one or two are dead or too injured to survive.''

This page is intended to serve as a place for editors to discuss what pages need to be made and how to go about making them. Feel free to add your own section, comment on other users' sections, or work on pages which have been linked here for work. When you feel that the project you started has been completed, feel free to delete it from this page. Please do not delete projects you did not start.

When commenting on sections, you can separate your comment from the previous person's by indenting with colons, using one more than the previous person did. If the indents start running off the screen, feel free to reset your indent to one colon. Sign your username after your comment by using four tildes. A non-formatted example:

I want to do this thing. ~~~~
:I'll help you do it. ~~~~
::Count me in! ~~~~
:::The thing is almost done. ~~~~
: The indents are getting long. ~~~~

Item List

The Item List page should now be complete with all item information currently known to the wiki. Stuff still needed:

  • Supply shop items (only Rare Chromas have been added)
  • Scrap info for Cloaked Shrubstalker, since we still don't know their rarities or descriptions.

Formatting may also need to be adjusted for the tables as we find the best way to layout information. Gathouria (talk) 09:55, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

Damage Output

I'm taking data on how much damage enemies, Tagalongs, and the player can do, and have a lot of data, but not sure where the best place to put this info would be. Since it's a huge chunk of data text, I'll link to what's currently collected. Gathouria (talk) 20:41, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Shielded, resisted, and super effective damage is all collected separately, which will hopefully allow us to do math to get the base damage for everything and see which way things round in damage math.

Limited Pickup Text

  • June 6, 2021 - June 30, 2021
    • Reward: Rainbow Chroma x2
    • "They ended up with a bunch of extra materials to make more Rainbow Chroma than usual. Bet you're happy you get to have more than just one this time, huh?"
  • July 7, 2021 - July 31, 2021
    • Reward: Energy Drink x4
    • "Feels like the IA will take money from almost anyone... there was this whole spiel the company that makes these energy drinks wanted me to give you, but I lost the paper. How would they even know if I told it to everyone anyway? They taste good, I guess. There, that's my endorsement."

New Release Wiki Checklist

To be used as a reference during new releases. Feel free to add anything I probably forgot about. Konz (talk) 16:36, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

New Creature Release

New Delve Checklist

  • New section in Project Portal using any older Delve page as template
  • Delving table in Delving page update
  • Test for weakness/resistance on brand new creature encounters, and whether the encounter has higher defense or not (15-18 DPS average neutral attack)
  • Update Scraps in Item List for brand new creature encounters
  • Gather all possible items in the Available Items table, excluding scraps
  • Relevant Sector page under Delves:
  • Once information gathering is complete, move to their new page and remove the section in Project Portal

Other New Content Checklist

This is for things like Limited Pickups and new dialogues. I'll add things here when I think of something (you can, too). Konz (talk) 16:36, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

Supply Guy Dialogue

Times listed are on server time (PT).

So far for all other days except Saturday, first dialogue appears during 12:00 AM to 12:59 PM, and the second 1:00 PM to 11:59 PM. Times will be added to individual days if time differs in subsequent dialogue/day. Konz (talk) 20:20, 5 August 2021 (UTC)

I'd like to try a formatting thing when NPCs reference each other or creatures or something in dialogue. How's this? Keileon (talk) 07:21, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
I like that idea. Konz (talk) 01:27, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
  • Sunday 1 (12:00 AM to 12:59 PM)
    • Mmmph? *crunch crunch* Sorry dude, I’m really hungry. All I could get my hands on were these chips. *crunch* Man, I’d kill for a chunk of one of those robot millipedes right now…
  • Sunday 2 (1:00 PM to 11:59 PM)
    • Dude, I’m glad to be here inside where it’s safe. Why do you field dudes love going outside and wrangling all of those killer creatures? Whenever I ask my big bro about it, he says he thinks adventuring is fun… I think having all my limbs is pretty fun, too.
  • Monday 1 (Unclaimed)
    • You look beat, dude. I got an extra energy drink here right here, if you want it! My big bro says field work is really tough. I was gonna drink it later just ‘cause I like the taste, but you could probably use it more than me.
  • Monday 2 (Claimed)
    • Hope you like it! But I mean, why wouldn’t you like it? Everyone knows Bombin’ Berry is the best kind!
  • Tuesday 1
    • ???
  • Tuesday 2
    • ???
  • Wednesday 1 (12:00 AM to 12:59 PM)
    • Some field dudes will come in here with one of those creatures that look like they’d eat people like I eat chips. But they usually don’t bother me… maybe they’re smart enough to tell that I’m poisonous.
  • Wednesday 2 (1:00 PM to 11:59 PM)
    • I remember watching this really old movie as a kid where some people got killed by an alien monster. And now a bunch of people are here on this planet full of alien monsters. Dude… when you really think about it, we’re the aliens here.
  • Thursday 1 (12:00 AM to 12:59 PM)
    • When I was on my way here I ran into that cyborg doctor lady. She’s scary… is that really who you field dudes have to go to when you’re hurt? I think I’d be too much of a wuss to ever go if she was my doctor…
  • Thursday 2 (1:00 PM to 11:59 PM)
    • Hey dude, do you think I have a chance with Olivia? We have so much in common, like… like… well, we both count lots of stuff! Can you tell her I said hi next time you see her?
  • Friday 1 (12:00 AM to 12:59 PM)
    • Do you ever get worried that one of your creatures might think you’d make a nice snack? Then again, those flying spider things do look pretty tasty… I’d totally cook one on the grill. I bet their legs are real nice and crunchy.
  • Friday 2 (1:00 PM to 11:59 PM)
    • Huh? What do they do with the Chroma that doesn’t get sold by the end of the day? Dunno, they just kind of… come by, take whatever I got left, give me some new boxes, and then buzz off. I just count stuff, dude.
  • Saturday 1 (All day, except when swapped to Saturday 2)
    • Why do they call me Supply Guy? Well, it isn’t a title for one thing. Okay, like, it is, but it’s also not. See, I work in the Supply Shop, and my name is Guy. So that’s why they call me Supply Guy.
  • Saturday 2 (Appears for 30 minutes at random times)
    • Three of these, five of those… I think that’d be enough for J—oh, uh, I’m in the middle of counting! Yeah! Gotta keep track of everything. It doesn’t look good when counts are off, you know?
